since i have no idea how to get this blogger thing to have a decent layout, i will make a second post... this is the beginning of my third and final project of the semester. i'm working on draping and building a mock-up of a woman's 18th-century gown, with a watteau back. fancy schmancy! i'm pretty happy with how it's going so far. figuring out how the bodice can fit tightly in the front and then connect to the loose watteau back was pretty cool. there is a layer that would be the structured lining and hold the outer business in place, in reality.
